Get Free Amazon Credits and Gift Cards

An Amazon credit is money Amazon puts into your account for making a purchase or even getting something that's already free to begin with.

These credits come and go, but in the past, there have been $5–$20 credits for downloading free apps or signing up for free trials of their services. Prime members also get credits for digital items for choosing a slower shipping speed.

A few times a year, Amazon has deals on Amazon gift cards. These work by purchasing an Amazon gift card during the promotion and then you'll get an additional $5–10 gift card on top of that. You can send all the Amazon gift cards to yourself and apply them to your account.

Here are a few more tips:

  • Trade in used electronics. If they approve what you send them, you'll get an Amazon gift card equal to the item's appraised value, and up to 20 percent off a new Amazon device.
  • Scan receipts with Amazon Shopper Panel. This is an app that awards you up to $10 of Amazon money per month, which you get by simply scanning receipts.
  • Advertise with Amazon Associates. This is an affiliate marketing program that pays out monthly Amazon gift cards when people buy things on Amazon through your special links. It's free to use, easy to set up, and works for websites, YouTube channels, and more.
  • Use your Amazon Rewards card. Yes, you technically need to spend money to make it, but you'll get 1–5 percent cash back in the form of Amazon points. If you're looking for a credit card and you already get most of your things through this retail giant, this might be one of the best ways to get Amazon-ready cashback.

If you're a Prime member, one of the benefits is that you get free two-day shipping with no minimum purchase. You can also get standard shipping, no-rush shipping, and release date delivery for free. If you live in certain cities, you may also be able to get free one-day, same-day, or even 2-hour delivery.

If you're not a member, free shipping is still available as long as your purchase is $25 or over and the items you're buying are eligible.

Receive Free Items to Review

Amazon Vine is a program that gives customers free items of all types to keep in exchange for an honest review of them.

The products you may get include items that haven't been released yet. These are given by the publisher, studio, manufacturer, label, or any other vendor who wants to participate.

Amazon Vine is an invitation-only program. You can get noticed by Amazon by writing honest and fair in-depth reviews. Once you've got their trust, and they've got a product to review that you'd be a good fit for, they'll email you and ask you to become a Vine Voice and write a review in exchange for the item.
