ENT disorders are among the most common health problems diagnosed in both adults and children. No matter what your specific health problem is, education is both comforting and essential.
Experience
Kristin Hayes, RN, has been a nurse since 2000 and has worked in a variety of nursing settings. The majority of her nursing career has been spent working in post-anesthesia care units and outpatient surgical centers.
Kristin routinely cares for patients who have undergone myringotomies (ear tube placement), tonsillectomies, nasal sinus surgery, and other ENT procedures. Working closely with ENT physicians, she not only cares for these patients, but also educates them about their condition and teaches them how to care for themselves at home.
Education
Kristin received an associate degree of science in nursing and graduated with honors from Weber State University in 2002. Prior to that, she had earned her Practical Nursing Certification through Utah Valley University and became a Licensed Practical Nurse in 2000.
