This super easy slow cooker barbecued chicken recipe can be spiced up with a little hot sauce or cayenne; add a layer of sliced onions if you like.

3 to 4 pounds chicken thighs and legs, completely thawed if frozen

1 (16-ounce) bottle barbecue sauce, or 2 cups homemade barbecue sauce
